He can't feel her, but Niki is his substitute.

The blond hair is too light, and this body too old. She’s riding him, and she feels rough and miles away from his soul.

His eyes close to darkness - just like his past and future, and she lives within the crevices of his mind. She's a beacon, beyond his reach as Fate forces him to suffer like this.

He moans and bites his lip, drawing blood and refusing to scream the wrong name.

When he comes, his eyes open to a forbidden dream, the cheerleader with a sweet smile and innocent eyes.
