Summary: Sky and Rain have a talk. Sky & Rain Friendship.
Sky was looking at him intensely again, and Rain knew that his best friend really wanted to say something important to him. Ever since Rain declared that he was after P’Phayu, Sky supported him, but he stared at his friend with trepidation, like Rain didn’t know what he was getting himself into.
“Are you serious about him?” Sky asked, and Rain gave him an annoyed response. He huffed at him, as if he was insulted, stating once again that he didn’t like Phayu.
Sky could smell the bullshit; Rain should know him better.
Though, Sky noticed the more Rain interacted with Phayu, the less the younger man was concerned with showing everyone that Phayu was a bad person. He was obviously falling for their senior, and though Rain wouldn’t admit it himself - Sky could see it.
At first, he didn’t want to interfere. It wasn’t his problem and he didn’t want to be too nosy. Though Rain was clueless about a lot of things, Sky didn’t want his friend to be hurt.
Sky had lived through his own hurt, and he didn’t want that fate for anyone.
“I’m not trying to pry,” Sky said after class as they sat together on cement steps. Rain had bought them both refreshing bubble teas, and they were enjoying a light breeze after an exhausting day in their classes.
“Hn?” Rain asked, looking at Sky, who stared at him with a serious expression. He leaned close to his friend.
“About Phayu…or any guy for that matter, do you know… what happens?” Rain’s lips gaped and he felt the hard stare of his friend on his face. He swallowed awkwardly and shifted his eyes around.
When his friend said nothing, Sky sighed heavily. “I mean sex between men.”
Rain slowly nodded his head, keeping his gaze away from Sky’s hardened eyes. “Ah..hm.”
Sky rolled his eyes and sighed again. “I suggest you research it.”
Rain began, “But I… that’s not… look, I’m not after Phayu to…”
Sky interrupted him. “If you win Phayu, do you really think he won’t want to do that with you? I mean, honestly.” Sky huffed audibly. “Every junior, man or woman, wants to jump him and would throw themselves into his bed if given the chance. He clearly oozes sex everywhere he goes.”
“Sky…” Rain whined.
“Just think about it, okay?” Sky said, sounding exasperated. If his friend was really this clueless, it was only a matter of time before Phayu hooked Rain and had him drooling willingly on his mattress.
“Okay,” Rain said softly.
“And buy some lube too,” Sky said quickly, and Rain coughed on his bubble tea, unprepared to hear such a thing.
“Sky!… koff, kaff,” Rain exclaimed, still recovering from swallowing the tea down the wrong pipe. He shook his head, but Sky had pretty much rendered him speechless. He could see the color fade from his friend’s face as the concept rolled around in his mind.
Sky blew out a breath and praised himself out loud. “Ahhhya, I’m such a good, friend.”
Rain was still too flustered to disagree.
